Poria really is a super mushroom. In Chinese herbal medicine it is one of the most sought after herbs if you have feelings of anxiety or depression. Traditionally it is used as a tincture, or as a herbal infusion. Adding it to raw foods will also aid in the digestion of the raw material which every digestive system can use as we slowly switch to colder, raw foods like salads as the seasons change to spring. 1 bunch loosely chopped Cilantro
1 pitted and peeled Avocado
1/4 cup Olive oil
1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
Juice of 1 Lime
2 dates, pitted
2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/8 tsp Salt
1 tbsp fine Poria
Add all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor. Blend until desired consistency, 1-2 minutes.
Pour onto of salad before serving or use as a dip for vegetables.
