Ashwagandha Healing Oat Bars
Unveil the ashwagandha healing oat bars! researchers have been studying Ashwagandha for years and have completed more than 200 studies on the healing benefits of this botanical. A kid friendly version can be made as well. just omit the ashwagandha.
- 2 cups gluten free oats
- 5 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 1/4 cups almond butter
- 12 medjool dates pitted
- 5 tablespoons coconut butter
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon green cardamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 3 tablespoons ashwagandha powder
Combine all ingredients into food processor until mixture forms a ball.
Press mixture into an 8 inch square pan. Flatten with parchment paper.
Garnish with coconut/chia or mulberry. Keeps for 1 week or a month in freezer.
